Today's first day at the Microsoft Power Platform Conference completely exceeded my expectations! 🔥 The event has been kicked off with absolutely big news – huge Copilot enhancements across Power Platform components (and more!). The absolute 💥 bangers 💥 that really stands out in my mind:✨ Copilot in Power Apps – already known tool which is revolutionizing the way of how the apps are built, by making developers more agile and productive than ever before with more complex enhancements introduced to the Power Apps Studio, but now also the users can take advantage of it – with new powerful Copilot control the end users can easily take the insights (using natural language) from both the data in the app as well as websites – and all of that backed by Power Virtual Agents, which are possible to adjust if needed! For now just in preview for the US region – please release that further ASAP!✨ Copilot and UX enhancements in Power Automate – the biggest audience clap that I saw this day was given for… new version of Power Automate designer becoming generally available! Seems to be a small thing but it will for sure improve the usability of the tool. The change comes along with some another enhancements to Copilot, that will expand its ability to populate more parameters in the cloud flows and actions it generates.✨ Copilot for GitHub and VS – we have been presented a demo of an AI pair programmer that helps writing custom code faster and with less work. It draws context from prompts of natural language, comments and code to suggest individual lines and whole functions instantly. Surely it will probably not handle complex solutions, but I find it a good asset even to learn the basics of programming. These are just examples. I attended few more sessions focused on Copilot improvements across other MS products, like Dynamics 365 Sales, Office Apps and Power Virtual Agents. Witnessing these innovations unfold has me incredibly thrilled about the future of our work with Microsoft taking the AI applications to yet another level. 💻✨Kudos to the Microsoft team for organizing this exceptional event and sharing the insights. Can't wait to learn more in the upcoming days and to deep dive into the details of the presented novelties once I am back! 🚀 #PowerPlatform #Microsoft #AI #Innovations #Copilot #Conference #FutureOfWork

I earned my 500th solution badge on the Microsoft Power Platform Community forums earlier this week. 🤯🎉Now, I know I could have probably done more during the 3 years since I signed up for the community. But then again, a vast majority of those solutions (492 to be precise) were actually delivered within the last 10 or so months (since end of June 2023). 🕵I've slowed down a bit earlier this year after focusing on other commitments, such as speaking at events and actually delivering client projects. But the community forums are still there and I still dedicate some time to helping people there every now and then. 🤗Most of this is due to my activity in the Power Automate Desktop forums (489 of my solutions stem from there). I was basically dominating them for a few months last year. But now I see other great authors coming up and helping people a lot, too. So, I no longer need to answer every question, and still see quality solutions being provided. 😍A shoutout here is due especially to Nived N and Deenuji Loganathan who have been doing a great job there for sure, providing some really great answers! 👏I hear some people saying that they've been partially inspired by me to contribute on the community, and that really warms my heart. After all, that's what the community is all about - #sharingiscaring ❤️️Follow me and the company I represent at Definra for more insights into #RPA, #automation, #processimprovement and #digitaltransformation. Hey, #Datafam Week 2 of my Microsoft Power Platform journey has come to a close, and I'm exhilarated to share my incredible experience with you all. 🚀🔌During this immersive week, I delved into the powerful world of Power Automate, where automation meets innovation, and efficiency reigns supreme. 💡⚙️I've been absolutely blown away by the sheer potential of Power Automate. From streamlining repetitive tasks to orchestrating complex workflows, this automation tool has truly revolutionized the way businesses operate. I've discovered how to leverage its extensive array of connectors to seamlessly integrate applications, services, and data sources, unlocking new realms of productivity and efficiency. 💪📈One of the standout moments for me was exploring the intuitive and user-friendly interface of Power Automate. With its low-code approach, I found myself building automated workflows with ease, empowering myself to create solutions without relying on extensive coding knowledge. It's incredibly empowering to see how this platform bridges the gap between technical and non-technical professionals, enabling everyone to contribute to automation initiatives. 🤝💻As I delved deeper into Power Automate, I discovered its potential for creating seamless integrations with other Power Platform components, such as Power Apps and Power BI. This synergy between the tools allows for the seamless flow of data, automating processes and providing valuable insights for data-driven decision-making. The possibilities truly seem boundless! 🌐🚀Reflecting on this incredible week, I feel a deep sense of gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of the Microsoft Power Platform. Each day brought new insights and hands-on experiences, building my confidence and expanding my skill set.I am excited to continue my journey, exploring other components of the Power Platform, including Power BI and Power Virtual Agents. This holistic approach to digital transformation will equip me with the tools to tackle complex challenges and drive meaningful change within organizations. I'd be delighted to share my insights and experiences weekly for the next 12 weeks.#MicrosoftPowerPlatform #PowerAutomate #Automation #datanalyst #DigitalTransformation #Productivity #Innovation #microsoftlearning

What if the "Convince your manager" letter template for Microsoft Build was a Copilot trained on the session titles/descriptions, speaker bios, and archived sessions? You'd provide your industry, job role, and current projects, and the bot (using a plugin connection to the conference schedule) would write a personalized pitch to your boss, even citing specific sessions that would generate business value. Inspired by Shawn (Yih-Hsiang) Cheng's "call my boss" idea described in his Northwest Event Show session, in which someone from event sales personally explains to the boss why it's important for the prospective attendee to be there in person. And come to think of it, combining the two ideas may work nicely. Generate a letter, auto-forward to your Microsoft partner, and let them do the rest. #whatif #MicrosoftBuild #CopilotStudio #AzureOpenAI #eventtech
