An enderman can be provoked by a player or other mob attacking them . They can also be provoked by a player looking them in the eyes for 5 game ticks ( 1 ⁄ 4 second) from up to 64 blocks away.

Feed an Enderman an apple , and it will display the number of chorus fruits it has eaten ( number ranges from difficulty ). Feed it that number of apples, and it will take 5 minutes to transform. Feeding it more apples makes it quicker. Provoking it by attacking undo's the process.

Obtaining

The Enderman Pet can be dropped by any Enderman in ⏣ The End. However, higher rarity Enderman Pets can only be dropped by level 45 and level 50 Endermen deeper down in ⏣ The End. The chances (without ✯Magic Find) are as follows:

✯Magic Find increases the chances of the pet dropping. Using ♣Pet Luck can further increase the chances of getting this pet, as ♣Pet Luck not only affects pet rarity but also pet drop rate.

Trivia

COMMON Enderman Pets are actually the second most desirable rarity (after MYTHIC) as most people are using the pet (before MYTHIC) solely for the ☠Crit Damage buff which doesn't increase with increasing rarity.
It's recommended to sell non-legendary Enderman pets to George the Pet Collector as it'll sell for a very low amount on the Auction House due to how many Enderman pets are in circulation.
This pet is a great pet for early game due to being extremely cheap on the Auction House. It provides great damage for people who can't spend a lot of money.
The Teleport Savvy ability does not just give damage to an Aspect of the End but to any weapon that is used.
