Microsoft has unveiled Copilot Pro, a subscription-based iteration of its AI Copilot, aimed at providing users with a more powerful artificial intelligence tool. Priced at $20 per month, Copilot Pro goes beyond the standard Copilot, offering enhanced features to users. Yusuf Mehdi, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Microsoft, emphasized that Copilot Pro is tailored to boost performance, productivity, and creativity across various tasks such as writing, coding, designing, researching, and learning.Subscribers to Copilot Pro gain access to the AI assistant in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel (currently in an English-only preview). Users on PC, Mac, and iPad with Microsoft 365 Personal and Family plans will also enjoy the benefits of Copilot Pro. Now AI autonomous agents can do it all!Autonomous agents are AI-powered software that can talk and work with other software to accomplish assigned tasks. It hearkens back to the early days of multi-platform apps, that could add payment apps and delivery apps to the shopping experience. No longer a brochure online, but an experience.Now autonomous agent AI breathes new life into a multi-platform app. Instruct an autonomous agent to organize a party for your office, and the autonomous agent would interact with other apps to connect with your office email account and calendar app to create an invite list, generate an invite card and email it to everyone in the office, order a banquet from a food delivery app, flowers for the tables, create a music playlist and connect with your office speakers, and then book Kevin O’Leary to jump out of a cake. And, all the while, it can be washing your clothes while you’re gone.
