Webster Update 6/29/2024:
Help us Build a New Shelter - "Raise the Woof" with Us Former Webster Residents Awaiting Adoption at Lyons Shelter.
Arriving on 6/27: Serious adopters please, ready to take kittens home within a couple of days after app approvalJuno: 16 year old female, tortie, a good girl. Shelter did dental work and blood tests (all normal). Documentation provided. People moving. Volunteers are saying so loving, wants to sit on your lap; not afraid even the first day here. Pretty face - a bit Persian looking, gorgeous green eyes. In our big condo - she can jump easily. Aging with extreme grace. A luxury retirement home for her please.
-----
Max: 1 year old, male, black, somewhat shy and he had an infected eye which the shelter had to remove. He is quite shy his first days here - who could blame him. But Nancy groomed and petted him in his room. I am pretty sure the kittens will soon lure him to play. The man who rescued him even called our center to see how he was. Good people.

Below: Spider and Grasshopper are part of a litter of kittens the "Bug Group". Our understanding is that other kittens from this group went to our Henrietta Petsmart 6/28. Spider and Grasshopper very chill adorable kittens.Spider: 3.5 month old male kitten, White and black, short haired; sibling of Grasshopper. Spider is a bit more outgoing, Grasshopper is shyer!

The Summer Group Below: June, Solstice and Sunny look a lot alike! I hear they are a feisty bunch, growling when they catch a mouse toy. They growl and wrestle , busy busy busy practicing the skills the Mom Cat taught them. They play, eat, sleep, poop and eat again. Fun kittens.Sunny: 3 months old, brown tiger, male, short haired. Sunny, June, and Solstice are siblings.

-----Tiggy: 10 1/2 years old, short haired calico, female. Owner moved out of state. Somewhat independent - takes charge of her life. Loves petting and brushing. Fine with the other cats who jump in and out of her rooms. She prefers a quiet home and when we have chaos in our center (People, cats, dogs barking) prefers to stay in her room. Will chase laser light up the wall; plays with feather toy and stick in her room. Likes Catnip. Bugsy's Note: I like her a lot. But she is an independent cat and prefers to control her interactions with you. She needs a home where the adopter will let Tiggy do her thing and come to you. Right now, not a lap cat, but at times craves attention offering her tummy. This is a great adult companion Program eligible cat!!!! Tiggy is now at the main shelter in Lyons. See Video of today

Mirbo: Rotating Back to Shelter on 6/28: Stop in to see her if interested. She is 8 1/2 yrs old, female, grey tiger short haired. Mirbo came to the shelter on December 20. We at first thought she did not like other cats; not true, fine out with all the cats in our adoption center. Mirbo let me do her front nails. Loves, loves your lap, attention, opening cabinets, playing with all the toys. This is a wonderful cat who has been over looked no fault of her own. Mirbo is a long girl - takes up a lot of space as she stretches out. Loves Temptation treats. This is a great adult companion Program eligible cat!!!! Likes to chill next to us on the bench - I imagine a TV watcher. A people experience cat looking for a human friend. STATUS KEY:
